DR MAURICE AVAYOU
Dr Maurice Avayou has been in the implant field since 1969. He is a renowned International Speaker and has lectured all over the world in several languages.
He is a postgraduate in Perio from Boston University and he also taught at Boston University for 13 years. He was Consultant and Professor in Maxillo-facial Surgery at UCLA with Dr Peter Moy, Consultant/Prof @ Pontoise Hospital France.
He was a Professor at Umea Hospital, Sweden where he is the International course coordinator for the grafting course. He is a renowned International speaker and has spoken at thousands of lectures worldwide.

DR ROY HIGSON BDS DGDP (UK)
Roy Higson has, over the last 20 years, become the country's most popular lecturer on occlusion at all levels.
As a partner for nearly 30 years in general practice near Stockport he first attended all the Pankey USA Continuum before being invited to become the only non-american to join the Board of the International Partnership for the Study of Occlusion (IPSO).
On behalf of IPSO he has lectured for every United Kingdom university and in many other countries. He is president of the British Society of Occlusal Studies and on the Advisory Board of Dental Protection. |
Through Stockport Dental Seminars he teaches occlusion both in theory and practice at all levels, especially in hands-on teaching on patients. He has published many articles on the theory of occlusal principles in the treatment of headaches.

DR KEVIN LEWIS BDS, LDSRCS
During 20 years in full time general practice, Kevin developed special interests in preventive dentistry and practice management. He has written two textbooks on dental practice management and was the Associate Editor of Dental Practice from 1981 until 2006.
More recently he has now become the Editor of the highly successful Dentistry magazine. He has lectured extensively all over the world, and has been involved with Dental Protection since 1989, initially on the Board of Directors, then as a dento-legal adviser, before being appointed Dental Director in 1998. |

DR MICHAEL R NORTON
Michael Norton graduated from the University of Wales in 1988. Since 1990, Michael has dedicated his time to the practice and study of implant dentistry from his clinic in Harley Street, London, England. He is registered as a specialist in Surgical Dentistry and is Visiting Professor to the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, USA.
Michael served for 10 years as Honorary Associate Specialist to the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Charing Cross Hospital, London and at Bedford General Hospital, Bedford, England.

Michael is the past president and scientific adviser of the Association of Dental Implantology and is the 75th Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, being only the 10th from outside North America, and the first from within the UK. He is also editor of the AO’s Academy News and a member of the board for the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants.
Michael lectures internationally, and is widely published in the implant literature. His internationally acclaimed Quintessence textbook: Dental Implants - A Guide for the General Practitioner, was published in 1995 and was the first on this subject by a British clinician and has been translated into other languages. He is also the joint owner and editor of the journal Dental Implant Summaries, which is read by over 1600 colleagues world-wide. |

DR ANDRE SAADOUN
Dr Saadoun received his Degree in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Paris and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania, and Post-Graduate Certificate in Implantology at the University of California in Los Angeles.
He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Southern California. |
Dr Saadoun is an internationally-known lecturer in Periodontology and Implantology. He has written over 150 articles and several chapters of books, including the new ‘Smile’ book.
He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and President of the ‘Recontres Mediteraneenes de Dentisterie’. He has also received the medal of ‘Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merite’.
He is also on the Editorial Board of Scientific Journals, Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Dental Implantology Update.
Dr. Saadoun Maintains a private practice in Paris, which is limited to Esthetic Periodontics and Implant Surgery. |

Dr Nadeem Zafar is the Director of Perio-Implant Europe Ltd. He qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 1994 and completed his Masters Degree in Implantology from the renowned Eastmans Dental Institute, London in 2000.He runs a Private Implant Referral Centre in Camberley, Surrey, and lectures in different countries of the World.
After completing his Masters Degree, he felt that the ideal way to study would be to work and learn at the same time. And he stressed the importance of practising procedures under supervision. |
